Car Painting Process
For those that think auto painting is a quick process, we beg to differ. It takes precision and several steps to paint your vehicle.
1. Cleaning– First, the surface of your vehicle must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure no dirt or debris not matter how small, get in the way of the new paint.
2. Primer– The vehicle is painted using a primer. Once that has set, it is sanded until smooth and ready for painting.
3. Basecoat– To get the color exactly the same as the factory finish, computerized technology is used in mixing the paint.
4. Topcoat/Clear Coat– Once the car is ready for a topcoat, the clear coat is then added. This will give your car that glossy finish it had when you purchased it.
